Soft Vxnxs, 2021 is made of a durable and sturdy gold material. Careful material selection has ensured a final product where durability and shape retention are guaranteed. This is very important for an exhibition that will be on display for a longer period of time.

About the object:
“Soft Vxnxs is a tenderqueer sculpture that seeks to create a space for vulnerability and comfort. Goldendean addresses the personal and political experience of hypervisibility; A fat, queer, trans body is both very visible and invisible or unimportant at the same time.”

First, a 3D model was designed to determine the correct shapes. Then, the digital design was fully customized to the desired specifications. After that, the production of the sculpture was started. In this process, the inflatable was checked down to the smallest detail. After approval, our technical team started the installation at Het Hem.

It was a pleasant, super-smooth, and pragmatic collaboration. In a very short time, Publi air was able to create the final inflatable from an initial sketch. Despite the artist being in South Africa, the lines were always short, and Publi air switched and acted quickly. We (Het Hem) and the artist (golden dean) are very satisfied with the result. And all that in such a short production time! The service from Publi air was very good, there was a lot of direct contact, and Publi air thinks along and is very involved in the entire process.
