The challenge

Publi air was given the opportunity by Wondr Experience to design a completely new and innovative room: the Cloud Room. Wondr wanted a space that would exude a dreamy, airy atmosphere, without visible vertical seams.

This “bubbletecture” should evoke a surreal feeling in visitors, as if they were literally among the clouds.

Creating such a floating space without seams posed a technical challenge for our team and offered the opportunity to develop new, advanced techniques.

The production

The Publi air team worked closely together to bring Wondr’s vision to life. By using innovative inflatable techniques and new materials, we succeeded in creating a completely fluid space that gave the illusion of floating clouds.

The walls and ceilings were designed so that there were almost no visible vertical lines, allowing visitors to fully immerse themselves in the airy, almost surreal atmosphere.

The Cloud Room offers a soft and dreamy aesthetic, stimulating the senses and creating a unique experience for everyone who entered the room. It is like walking in a floating cloud, a feeling of freedom that perfectly matched the intended experience of Wondr Experience.

The result

The end result was a masterpiece of design and technology, a unique space that enchanted the public. The Cloud Room is currently one of the most popular parts of Wondr Experience.

For us, this project was a special milestone, as it was one of the first artworks to be fully realized under the leadership of Samuel Nuijten and Pepijn Scholte, who have been at the helm of Publi air since 2022.

This collaboration not only demonstrates the creative power of Publi air, but also our ability to create innovative visual solutions that appeal to visitors on a sensory level!
