46th edition of the autumn marathon

One of the highlights of last year… the TCS Amsterdam Marathon! Enjoy the city of Amsterdam and run along the most attractive passages of our capital.

The TCS Amsterdam Marathon is known for its flat, fast and historic character. The start and finish take place, as every year, in the Olympic Stadium in Amsterdam South. And did you know that the Marathon course follows part of the course of the 1928 Olympic Games? Namely the section along the Amstel with its stately mansions and unique windmills.

Organization and clients

For the 2022 edition, Publi Air, together with its partner Clipper MS, was allowed to contribute to part of the decoration of the course and the start and finish location. Our client, SportVibes, is responsible for all hospitality on and around the course.

Sports marketing: event decoration

We have placed our famous start and finish arches on and around the course, which provide the necessary recognition for the participants. Part of the TCS Marathons is the Mizuno half marathon. We also used our inflatables for this event on and alongside the route through Amsterdam. For example, we used our existing Mizuno blowup Mega Shoes for the necessary branding.

Various locations

What makes this sporting event so challenging for us are the various locations spread across the city where our inflatables are located. Everywhere, the inflatables must make a striking impact on the public, be safe for the athletes and contribute to the sports marketing canvases of our clients. And that is quite a challenge!

All our inflatable sports advertising items survived the marathon. Whether it was the start and finish arch, the Ascics sponsor arch, the Mizuno giant inflatables or the i-Amsterdam arch, they all contributed to a fantastic sporting event.
